Sensory-Friendly Sundays! 2nd Sunday of the Month, October – May, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Join us for sensory-friendly mornings at the USS Constitution Museum! Learn about the incredible history of America’s Ship of State in a quieter setting, without loud sounds or flashing lights, and before we open to the public at 10:00 AM. Design a ship, furl a sail, and scrub the decks in our hands-on exhibits that are designed for sailors of all abilities and backgrounds. This offering is open to visitors of all ages, as well as their friends, families, and caregivers. Registration is required and limited to 35 people. Register for the event here . The Especially for Me event series offers dedicated hours and free admission for families with disabilities. During these events, we offer accommodations that increase access to exhibits and provide an opportunity for families to network with one another in an understanding, ADA-compliant environment. While the event titles indicate the focus for certain program accommodations, any family that would benefit from a sensory friendly visit is welcome at any time. A medical diagnosis is not required.
